In the year 1868 he moved with his parents to Camden, Nebr., and in the spring of 1869, they moved on the farm 6 miles southwest of Milford. Jerman Wilsey was united in marriage to Mary Burkey and they lived in and around Seward county most of their lives. She preceded him in death in 1929. To this union were born... In the year 1868 he moved with his parents to Camden, Nebr., and in the spring of 1869, they moved on the farm 6 miles southwest of Milford. Jerman Wilsey was united in marriage to Mary Burkey and they lived in and around Seward county most of their lives. She preceded him in death in 1929. To this union were born two sons, Rhen and Clyde, who now live in Oakdale, Calif.; five daughters, Fern and Vy of Oakdale, Calif., Floy of San Francisco, Calif., and two who died in infancy. There is also one grandchild and one great grandchild. He has two sisters, Mrs. Frank Walker of Milford and Mrs. Dollie Hunter of Oakland, Calif., and one brother, Frank Wilsey of Milford. Jerman Wilsey was faithful in attending church. He had a host of friends and was known as one of the oldtimers of this part of the country. Funeral services were held at the Assembly of God church with Rev. Harold Champlin and Rev. E. S. Tschetter officiating. Burial was in Blue Mound cemetery. Seward Independent, Seward, NE, Wed, December 30, 1942 J. L. Wilsey, 84, of Milford, died Tuesday afternoon at a Lincoln hospital. Surviving are a son Rhen of Oakdale, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Kate Walker of Milford. Mr. Wilsey was well known in the Beaver community; he was a brother of the late Walter Wilsey.
