The decedent, who was a resident of Wabash for 20 years, was born Feb. 21, 1910 in Kent, O., the son of Jerry L. and Mary (Mentel) Hoy. Death was due to coronary occlusion. The decedent, who was a resident of Wabash for 20 years, was born Feb. 21, 1910 in Kent, O., the son of Jerry L. and Mary (Mentel) Hoy. He was married in Wabash on Aug. 2, 1932, to Lovah Lavengood, who survives. Mr. Hoy was a member of the Wabash Christian church and was employed by the New York Central railroad company. He was engaged in trucking and was a member of the Eagles lodge. Survivors include the widow, seven children, Mrs. Robert Hoy, Akron, O.; James L., Judy, Mary Kathryn, Jon, Joe Bill and Patricia, at home; one brother, Joe Hoy, Kent, O.; and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Johnson, Kent, O.; Mrs. Joe Greenfelder, Detroit, Mich. One brother preceded him in death. The body will remain at the Hoover-Miner Funeral home where friends may call after 7 o'clock Friday evening and where funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. D.G. Ashton will officiate and burial will be in the Falls cemetery.
