Leeper, 62, Clinton, died Wednesday at Mercy North Hospital in Clinton. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lemke Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Brinkman officiating. Visitation will be from 4- 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. He was born Nov. 22, 2939, in Afton, Iowa, to R.B. and Lelah Mae Moore Leeper. On may 5, 1996, he married Linda Neill in Laughlin, New. He severed in the U.S. Army. He had been employed as a yardman with Midwest Lumber Co. of Winfield before moving to Clinton, where He became sales manager for the former Nelson's Cashways Lumber Co. he the co-owned and operated the former Gabel & Walkers in Clinton, and later owned and operated Earth Art Landscaping and Artistic Association in Las Vegas, Nev. He last was employed as a sales representative for Contract Advertising in Virginia Beach, Va. He was a member of the International Association Fairs and Exhibitions (IAFE), was an active volunteer for the Boy Scouts, Clinton Little League and Y Indian Guides. He helped organize and start the Clinton Pool Leagues. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Tamara (Donald) Kirgan of Maquoketa, Mrs. Kathryn (Mark) Christiansen of Miles and Mrs. Linda (Jeff) Chapman of Clinton; Three sons, Danna Powell of New Windsor, Ill., Derek Powell of Clinton and Ronald Leeper of Clinton; 18 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
