Description	:	Jerry Gene Wall, 75, of Chesnee, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 06, 2012. Born July 2, 1936 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the loving husband of Janice Faye (Blackwell) Wall and the son of the late Joe Cleatus Wall and Madge (Ezell) Wall. He retired from the Kohler Company after 40 years of service, was a member of Arrowwood Baptist Church and was a former Chief for the Chesnee Fire Department. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Dr. Michelle Wall Wease and her husband Donnie of Charleston; one sister, Maggie Anthony of Gaffney; and two grandsons, Gavin and Grayson Wease. He was preceded in death by three brothers, J.C. Wall, Jr., Leonard Wall, and Curtis Wall; and one sister, Joyce (Wall) Thorne. The family received friends 3:00-5:00 PM on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Eggers Funeral Home in Chesnee. Funeral Services were held Monday, January 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Arrowwood Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Godfrey and Rev. Travis Smith officiating. Pallbearers serving were Richard Wilson, Brandon Jones, Dean Jones, Benny Wall, Edwin Wall, and Tommy Petty. Interment followed the services in Springhill Memorial Gardens. Flowers were accepted or memorials could be made to Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
