Mr. Allison was the son of the late Boyce Allison Sr. and Raymoth Jones Alison. He is survived by his wife, Patsy H. Mr. Allison was the son of the late Boyce Allison Sr. and Raymoth Jones Alison. He is survived by his wife, Patsy H. Allison, of the home; three sons, Ted Allison of Mauldin, Jerry Wayne Allison and Jeff Allison, both of Gaffney; two grandchildren who were raised in the home, Abby Louise Allison and Jeffrey Todd Allison Jr.; three step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; a special little boy, Allen White, who claimed him for a grandpa even though he wasn't related; two sisters, Margie A. Collins of Campobello and Barbara A. Keller of Gaffney; five brothers, Edgar Allison, Boyce Allison, Jimmy Allison, Danny Allison and Mike Allison, all of Gaffney; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Allison was a former deacon and trustee at Open Door Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member for 32 years. He was retired from Tomlinson Engineering Co. and WARCO Construction as a foreman. Visitation will be at Shuford Hatcher Funeral Home, downtown Gaffney, today from 6-8 p.m. Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Open Door Baptist Church, 229 Edgewater Drive, conducted by Pastor Lewis Batchelor and Jason Elder. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Allison, Ted Allison, Jerry Wayne Allison, Jeffrey Allison Jr., Mike Allison and Danny Allison. Families members are at their respective homes. Memorials may be sent to Cherokee County Children's Home, c/o Sandra G. Miller, P.O. Box 1896, Gaffney, S.C. 29342; or Hospice Care of S.C., 1612 N. Limestone St., Gaffney, S.C. 29341. Arrangements by Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home.
