Description	:	Jerry graduated from New Salem High School. On September 16, 1967, Jerry married Carlene Weiss in New Salem. They bought a farmstead northeast of New Salem, where they worked side by side farming and milking cows for 24 years. He worked construction in Bismarck from 1992 to 2013. Family was the most important thing to him, and he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and trail rides with his children and grandchildren. On September 16, 1967, Jerry married Carlene Weiss in New Salem. They bought a farmstead northeast of New Salem, where they worked side by side farming and milking cows for 24 years. He worked construction in Bismarck from 1992 to 2013. Family was the most important thing to him, and he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and trail rides with his children and grandchildren. Jerry and Carlene enjoyed taking trips to visit their family throughout the country. He loved tending to his garden and canning its produce and also liked playing Cribbage and other card games. He was a member of New Salem Saddle Club, Jaycees, Peace Church council, Elm Crest Board of Directors and Fire District Board. He was diagnosed with cancer in February 2021 and was courageous throughout his battle until the end. Generous and kind, Jerry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, uncle, and friend to many. He was blessed to share in his life are his children, Charlotte (Mitchell) Erhardt of Bismarck, Candi (Stuart) Glass of Central City, NE, James (Rebecca) Just of Highlands Ranch, CO, and Joel (Kristen) Just of Bismarck; grandchildren Patricia (Nicholas) Thompson, Travis Erhardt, Brooke (Brandon Gasseling) and Seth Glass, and Taylor, Kennedy, Bradyn, Brycen, Emily and Braxton Just; great grandchildren Harper and River Thompson; mother-in-law Genevieve Weiss; brother-in-law Arlon (Arlene) Weiss.
