Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the residence and will be private. Burial will be made in Bloomingsburg, Ohio. Mr. Ensley was a native of Pennsylvania where he lived until 40 years ago when he came to Clark County to engage in farming. In 1913, he gave up his farm and moved into Springfield, Ohio, spending the next few years employed at the Springfield Malleable Iron Company. He retired from active business about 10 years ago. He was a member of the Bloomingsburg, Ohio Presbyterian Church for many years. Surviving him are his widow, Aretta Ensley, a son-Herman Ensley of New Moorefield, three daughters- Mrs. Carrie James, Miss Marie Ensley of Springfield, and Mrs. Agnes Snodgras of Harmony. He also leaves 13 grand-children and seven great grandchildren. ================ Not in Obituary-born to William C. Ensley: 52-Head-born about 1828 in Pennsylvania and passed on February 26, 1917--this is according to the US Veterans Administration Cards; Sarah A (Gordon) Ensley: 52-Wife-born about 1828 in Pennsylvania; 1-Evan Ensley: 20-Son-this is J. Evan Ensley; 2-Jerry Ensley: 18-Son-born about 1852 in Pennsylvania-passed in 1933 and Buried in Pleasant Cemetery in Mount Sterling, Madison County, Ohio; 3-Annie E Ensley- 26-born about 1844 in Pennsylvania-Unknown 4-Caroline Ensley- 22-born about 1848 in Pennsylvania; 5-Mary Ensley: 12-born about 1858 in Pennsylvania-Unknown; 6-William Ensley: 10-born about 1860 in Pennsylvania-passed in Union Township, Champaign, Ohio; 7-John Ensley: 1-born about 1869 in Ohio; 8-Marion Ensley: 1-born about 1869 in Ohio.
