Brown, 69, died at her home on South West street Sunday afternoons. Death resulted from complictions, following a few days' illness. "Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the D. M. Evans funeral home, conducted by Rev. G. G. Hughes. Burial will be made in the Hillsboro cemetery. "Mrs. Brown is survived by six children: Gilbert of War. W. Va.; Mrs. William Granger, of Springfield; Mrs. D. T. Chaney of Washington C. H.; Harold, of Hillsboro; Mrs. N. E. Rhoads, of Washington, D.C.; Pfc. Leslie O. Brown, stationed at Camp McKinley, Portland, Me.; two brothers, Fay and Carl Holmes of Columbus, a sister, Mrs Laura Nason, of Portland, Ore."
