Description	:	Friends of Jesse Girard here were very much grieved last Sunday to receive word of his death, which occurred at Muskogee, Indian Territory, where the young man had been since last September . Death was the result of typhoid fever and blood poisoning. Mr. Girard was a young man just 25 years old. He was the son of Mrs. Eva Girard of near Schleswig, and he had been a resident of Denison sometime before he went to Muskogee, working here for the Green Bay Lumber Co., where he was found to be an exceptionally fine fellow and a valued assistant... He was the son of Mrs. Eva Girard of near Schleswig, and he had been a resident of Denison sometime before he went to Muskogee, working here for the Green Bay Lumber Co., where he was found to be an exceptionally fine fellow and a valued assistant in the business. With a magnificent physique and a pleasant disposition he was attractive and friendly with all and he would have been picked out anywhere as a man whose future would be bright and successful. He went to Muskogee to try his fortunes and we understand he had completed arrangements to take a wife just one day later than his funeral, when Miss Edna Bagge of this place was to have been his bride. This fact makes the death all the more sad, and adds to the grief of friends and relatives. The funeral was held in Denison Tuesday forenoon at 11 o'clock, at the Baptist church, Rev. W. E. Bryce of the Presbyterian church officiating for Rev. Stull whose illness prevented. The body was brought to Denison Monday evening by the mother, Ben Bartcher meeting her at Council Bluffs, and assisting in the care of the remains at that place.
