Description	:	Final rites were held Sunday, February 10, for Mrs Jessie E. Gibson, who passed away February 8th. Rev. S. Wood was in charge of the services held at the Methodist church in Woodbine. Pallbearers were Russel Ellison, Howard McLanghlin, Howard Stephany, Guy Clark, L.R. Benning and Paul McKinney. Burial was in the Woodbine cemetery. Jessie Eva While, was born in Harrison County, Iowa near Logan July 5, 1870 and passed away at the Mercy hospital in Council Bluffs on February 8, 1952 at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 3 days. She was united in marriage to Harry Gibson, of Portsmouth, Iowa on July 5, 1891. They made their home on the farm west of Portsmouth for the following thirty-seven years, moving to Woodbine in 1928 and returning to the farm in 1932. After the death of her husband on February 29, 1936 she returned to Woodbine where she continued to reside until her final illness. To this union seven children were born and who survive her, Mrs Bessie Hanson of Portsmouth, Mrs Jessie Yocom of Woodbine, Mrs Jean Kuster of Persia, Mrs Margaret Chappell of Logan, Harry Gibson of Portsmouth, Donald Gibson of Shelby and Mrs Kathryn Newland of Woodbine. There are also three sisters and one brother who mourn her passing. Mrs Edna Waters, of Logan, Mrs Walter Bell of Branson, Missouri, Mrs Alice North of Edinburg, Texas and Bert White of Lake George Michigan.
