Iverson, coming here from Austin, Miinn., where she had made her home with another sister for 25 years. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Sophia Gilbertsen, Mrs. Luvina Bergeson and Mrs. Olive Iverson, all of Ellsworth; two brothers, Elwood Bauge of Dows and Bert Bauge of Ames. ======================================================== Jessie Evalina/Evelyn Bauge was born April 16, 1887 near Estherville, Emmet County, Iowa, the 8th chlld of Joseph Nilsson Bauge and Julia Halverson Bauge. She grew up on farms nears Estherville and Dows, Iowa. She lived with her sister and husband, Sophia and Gus Gilbertsen for 25 years near Austin, MN. When she was young, she had inflammatory rheumatism which contributed to a heart condition later on. Jessie lived her last 3 years with her sister, Olive Iverson in Ellsworth, Iowa. Jessie died at age 75. Jessie's grandparents were Nils J. (Memorial# 129243963) and Synneva Bauge (Memorial# 129243017) of near Huxley, Story County, Iowa and Goodman Halverson (Memorial# 49004096) and his 2nd wife, Inger Berge Halverson (Memorial# 130113832) of Fox Twp., Kendall County, Illinois. ================== When Jessie was 10 years, the family moved to the Dows community. She lived there until 1940 when she moved first to Austin, Minn. to live with her sister and then to Ellsworth in 1959.
