Description	:	MRS. JESSIE MARTIN HENRY She was born June 12, 1887 at LaPorte City, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Elida Heath Sharp. Following the death of her father in 1888 she was raised in the home of an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Kerschner, on a farm near Dana, Iowa. She was married to Samuel Martin at Dana on June 12, 1907. They farmed near Dana. Her husband died in 1930. She was married to Chester Henry on April 28, 1932. JESSIE MARTIN HENRY She was born June 12, 1887 at LaPorte City, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Elida Heath Sharp. Following the death of her father in 1888 she was raised in the home of an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Kerschner, on a farm near Dana, Iowa. She was married to Samuel Martin at Dana on June 12, 1907. They farmed near Dana. Her husband died in 1930. She was married to Chester Henry on April 28, 1932. Following their marriage, they resided in Racine, Wisconsin. Mr. Henry died in 1947. Since that time Mrs. Henry had resided in Dunkerton and Waterloo, Iowa. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian church of Waterloo and of the Golden Age Club of Waterloo. Mrs. Jessie Martin Henry, 76, the mother of the Rev. Warren K. Martin, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church, died at 4:12 a.m. Tuesday at Schoitz Memorial hospital of complications of advanced age. Surviving are three sons, the Rev. Warren K. Martin of 209 Byron Ave.; Russell Martin of 511 W. 8th St.; Donovan Martin of 1722 Gilbert Drive, Evansdale; one sister, Mrs. O. A. Wallace of Dana; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and two sons. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Westminster Presbyterian Church. Officiating was the Rev. Warren K. Martin, Pastor, and the Rev. Earl A. Huebner, Associate Pastor. Graveside services were at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Paton Cemetery in Paton. Friends called at Parrott & Wood Funeral home after 11 a.m. Wednesday. Friends who wished gave memorials to the Westminster Presbyterian Organ Memorial Fund.
