R. Thome officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery. She was born November 20, 1882, near Morning Sun, the daughter of George and Jennie Gregory Swan, and married P. A. Moyers at Wapello in March of 1878 (sic: 1898). They lived near Newport before moving to Morning Sun. Surviving are her husband; a son, Earl of Davenport; a daughter, Mrs. Lottie Pilling, of Mediapolis; four sisters, Mrs. Maude Owens of Mount Union, Mrs. Lillie Johnson of Mediapolis, Mrs. Letha Brekke of Chicago, Illinois, and Mrs. Ona Nordstrom of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Paul Swan, of Mediapolis, seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. A son and a daughter are dead.
