She is survived by a loving family, daughter-in-law, Betty George, Prairie City, Iowa; daughter, Annette and (John) Kelly, Omaha, Nebraska; son Nolan and (Mary) George, Winne, Texas; and son Bruce George and fiancée Cheryl Anderson, Promise City, Iowa. Her grandchildren are Tony and (Patty) George, Shelby and Brad, Runnells, Iowa; Mike and (Tammy) George, Dylan and Tanner, Lee Summit, Missouri; Kelly and (Allison) George, Brady, Carson and Sophia, Runnells, Iowa; Michelle and (Pat) Grady, Austin, Allison and Megan, Omaha, Nebraska; John Kelly, Jr., Omaha, Nebraska; Missy and (Ben) Price; Victoria, Texas; Jason and (Aileen) George, Devon and Avery, Houston, Texas; Amanda Reeves, Groves, Texas; Derek and (Deb) George, Katie, Claire, Rachel and Daniel, Centerville, Iowa; and Courtney George, Rolla, Missouri. She was surrounded by a large community of friends and neighbors. With the loss of her mother, Jessie and her dad became an inseparable pair, following and helping him from morning until night. Being outdoors all the time with her dad caused great angst with her Grandma Buoy, who frequently told her, "Jessie, you poor little thing you. You're so brown." Tanned arms and face were unheard of in her time, a proper young lady always wore a bonnet and sleeves. This experience taught her love of the land, plants, and animals that she instilled in her family. She worked on the farm with her Dad, husband, daughter, sons and grandchildren the rest of her life. She loved gardening, working in her flower and shrub beds and especially mowing the lawn on her John Deere tractor at least three times a week! She liked having all her family together particularly at the summer picnics including the water fights and always home made ice cream. Each year she would update the calendar so that everyone got a card on his or her birthday. Jessie was famous for her cooking and family favorites were noodles and popcorn balls. On most days you could find her at one of the local cafes eating lunch with her friends. She liked being at home frequently napping in her blue leather recliner. One of the more humorous family stories was when dad came home from WWII, a decorated Marine, qualified marksman; only to have mom out shoot him at target practice, and she never let him forget it!! Jessie was loved and will be greatly missed by her family.
