Jessie was born in Aynor, SC, a son of the late James Donnie and Estelle Daniels Allen. Jessie was a veteran of the SC Carolina National Guard and honorably served for six years. Read More	Jessie Wayne Allen, age 77, husband of Becky Allen, met His Lord and Savior Friday, September 08, 2017 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family. Jessie was born in Aynor, SC, a son of the late James Donnie and Estelle Daniels Allen. Jessie was a veteran of the SC Carolina National Guard and honorably served for six years. He retired as an Industrial Engineer Manager of the Chip Division of the AVX Corporation in Myrtle Beach after 26 years of service. Jessie also retired as the Plant Manager for the former Carolina Assemblies Corporation in the Atlantic Center in Conway. After his many years in the manufacturing industry, Jessie was employed by Horry County Government as the Business License Manager. Jessie was a true people person and never met a stranger. He could be found in the mornings at J&J Cafeteria and in the afternoons at Circle K enjoying a cup of coffee and socializing with friends. Jessie enjoyed his Sunday afternoon rides with his brother exploring the back roads of Horry County. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Conway and was active in the Angler Sunday School Class which he loved dearly. Survivors include; his wife of 49 years, Rebecca “Becky” Daniels Allen; his two daughters, Shannon Allen Anderson and her husband, Randy, of Conway, Stacey Allen Mott and her husband, Chris, also of Conway; his grandchildren, Robbie Anderson, Rebekah Anderson, Sarah Anderson, Rachel Mott all of Conway; his brother, Sammy Allen and his wife, Danell, also of Conway. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 10, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Conway with Reverend Rocky Taylor officiating. An interment will immediately follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
