Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Shields "SP" and Marie Rogers Holladay. She was a member of Wedgefield Presbyterian Church, where she served as vice moderator and missions for the Presbyterian Women of the Church. She attended the Wedgefield Baptist Church also. Read More	Wedgefield - Jho Ann Holladay Goodman, 74, widow of Davis R. "Bones" Goodman, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Palmetto Health Richland. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Shields "SP" and Marie Rogers Holladay. She was a member of Wedgefield Presbyterian Church, where she served as vice moderator and missions for the Presbyterian Women of the Church. She attended the Wedgefield Baptist Church also. Jho Ann was retired from Sumter School District 2 after 35 years of service. She drove a school bus for Sumter School District 2 for 27 years. She also faithfully served the community of Wedgefield with the volunteer fire department for many years. She worked with the Sumter County Fair for more than 30 years and was a member of The Christian Motorcycle Association. Surviving are three children, Davis R. "Shot" Goodman Jr. (Anna) of Wedgefield, Patricia "Pat" Ann Huggins (Gene) of Sumter and Margaret E. Hill (Dale) of Sumter; nine grandchildren, Carla, Davy and Daniel Goodman, Crystal Prescott (Kevin), Dale II, Brittany and Taylor Hill, Melissa Mize, Chad Gregg (Megan), Samantha, Savannah, Tommy and David Woodward; and eight great-grandchildren. Siblings include Frank Holladay (Sharon) of Northridge, Calif., Nancy Wisman of Sumter, Tony Holladay Sr. (Janice) of Port Lavaca, Texas, Cindy Bordwine (Mike) of Lexington and Lisa Lake (Andre) of Columbia. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Bobby Holladay. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Wedgefield Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Goff, the Rev. Jody Foster and the Rev. Charles Owens officiating. Music will be provided by Last Generation and piano music provided by Debbie Hudson. Burial will be held at a later date at the Wedgefield Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Davy Goodman, Daniel Goodman, Dale Hill II, Kevin Prescott, David Motes and Jordan Olsen. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons and elders of Wedgefield Presbyterian Church and Wayne Jackson. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home, 2050 Highway S.C. 261, Wedgefield. Memorials may be made to Wedgefield Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 36, Wedgefield, SC 29168 or to Wedgefield Baptist Church, P.O. Box 265, Wedgefield, SC 29168.
