Description	:	Jimmie Louise Boatright passed away on January 21, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 97. She was born in Springdale, Arkansas on September 23, 1923 and was the oldest of Doyle and Lovena Reed’s three children. She was the Salutatorian of her Springdale High School Graduating Class and attended Business College in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Read More	Jimmie Louise Boatright passed away on January 21, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 97. She was born in Springdale, Arkansas on September 23, 1923 and was the oldest of Doyle and Lovena Reed’s three children. She was the Salutatorian of her Springdale High School Graduating Class and attended Business College in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 1943, she married Alvie Boatright, before he joined the Army Air Corps and deployed to the Pacific Theater during World War II. Jimmie was a loving Air Force wife to Alvie during his 33 year US Air Force career and a super Mom to her two sons during all the travels associated with her husband’s duty assignments. On several occasions Alvie was deployed overseas to remote locations while Jimmie superbly handled the roles of both Mother and Father. She was also an active volunteer on Air Force bases where Alvie was assigned, helping other service members and their families. Alvie preceded her death in 1999 and Jimmie will be buried next to him at Springdale’s Bluff Cemetery, which is less than a ten minute walk from the house where she was raised. Her burial site is near the graves of her Mother, Father, Brother, Sister and several other relatives. Jimmie is survived by her sons: Rodney Boatright and his wife Annabelle, of San Antonio; and Zane Boatright and his wife Kris of Oklahoma City. She also has three surviving Grandchildren: Angela Boatright, Gavin Boatright, and Zachary Boatright. A graveside service will be held at Springdale’s Bluff Cemetery on March 25, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
