Read More	Mr Jimmy Cole Mobley, 72 Jimmy Mobley, 72; service Monday SOURCE: Carteret County News-Times, The (Morehead City, NC) - Sunday, June 21, 2009 Jimmy Cole Mobley, 72, of Greenville and Cape Carteret, died peacefully early Friday, June 19, 2009, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital after an intense struggle with cancer. The funeral service is t 2:30 p.m. Monday at Black Jack Pen-tecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Greenville. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park. Son of the late Sammy Richard Mobley and Audrey Buck Mobley, Mr. Mobley was a native of the Grimesland and Black Jack communities of Pitt County where he lived all of his life. He graduated in 1954 from Grimesland High School and began his career at Coastal Chemical Corporation. He was a talented, dedicated, faithful member of the Coastal family, making tremendous contributions to the success of Coastal. After 45 years of service, he retired from Coastal in 1999 as vice president of operations. Since his retirement, he enjoyed fishing, genealogical work and spending time at his home at Cape Carteret. A longtime member of Black Jack Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, he enjoyed, supported and attended many church activities and was awarded Deacon Emeritus in 2006. He is survived by sons, Gregory Cole Mobley and wife Karen and their son Nathaniel of Apex and Richard Guy Mobley of Black Jack and his daughter Ashley Rae Mobley of Youngsville; a special aunt, Stella Buck Mobley of Grimesland; two daughters-in-law, Lynette Harris Mobley and Lynette Harris Mobley, both of Greenville; brother in-law, Glen Barnes of Greenville; sister in-law, Lois Mills Braxton and husband Amos Don Braxton of Greenville; sister in-law, Gloria Mills Wallace and husband D.P. Wallace of Cape Carteret; and nephew, Morris Ken Hines. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years in November 2008, Eloise Mills Mobley, and his sister, Doris Mobley Barnes of Greenville. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mr. Mobley's memory may be made to Black Jack Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 2581 Black Jack-Grimesland Road, Greenville, N.C. 27858 or to University Hospice, C/O PCMH Foundation, P.O.
