Survivors include a daughter and spouse, Phyllis and Macky Wingate of Independence; a son, Dennis Sexton and fiancee, Debbie Crouse of Independence; one brother and spouse, A.L. and Barbara Jones of Greensboro, N.C.; and one grandson.
