Description	:	Jo Anne Kathryn Stecher 80 of Muscatine passed away on Sunday October 28, 2012 at the All American Care Center following a 10 year courageous battle with cancer. Funeral mass will be held at 10a.m. on Thursday November 1, 2012 at St Mary's Catholic Church. Casket bearers will be her gradsons, Brad Stecher, Chad Stecher, Jared Stecher, Justin Stecher, Tyson Beach, Matt Mack, and Ryan Arnds, Honorary Casket bearers will be her granddaughters, Jill Amends, Lindsay Stecher, and Cara Mack. Visitation will be from 4-8p.m. on Wednesday October 31, 2012 with an 8p.m. Rosary Prayer Service at Geo M. Witch Lewis Funeral Home. A memorial has been established at the funeral home in Jo Anne's name. Jo Anne was born on December 9, 1931 in McGregor, the daughter of Leonard Hamilton and Helen L. Chapin Schultz. On August 11, 1951 she was united in marriage to Lyle R. Stecher in Davenport Iowa. She was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church and enjoyed dancing, playing cards, collecting Precious Moments figuines and toys and dolls and most of all spending time with her grandchildren, JoAnne will be deeply missed by two sisters, Bev Davidson of Stockton and Steve Stecher and wife Judy of Durant, four daughters, Lou Ann Christofferson of Muscatine, Karen Beach and huaband Jim of Muscatine, Cathy Mack and husband Benie of Davenport and Holly Stecher of Muscatine. sisters, Betty Todd of Durant, Bev Davidson of Davenport and Judy Dittmer of Naples, Florida. nine grandchildren, Brad Stecher, Jill Arends, Chad Stecher, Jared Steche, Justin Stecher, Tyson Beach, Matt Mack, Lindsay Stecher, and Cara Mack, and two great grandchildren, Carter Arends and Evie Arends, The family wouldlike to give special thanksto Judy Stecher and Tosha Snyder. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Maxine Schult, one son in law, Steve Christofferson and one grandson, Brady Mack.
