Description	:	JoAnn was born to Frank and Hilda (Aeschliman) Gering. She moved to Colfax with her family where she grew up and graduated from high school. She married Robert "Bob" McCown in 1955 and moved to Garfield where they made their home. Jo worked as a bookkeeper for the J.E. Love Company for many years and Bob kept busy as a truck driver. JoAnn loved gardening and working in her yard. Bob passed away in 1991 and Jo moved back to Colfax in 1995 and has made her home here since. Survivors names omitted per findagrave policy.
