JoAnna was born November 6, 1936, at Columbus, NE., the daughter of William and Stella (Henery) Dranselka. JoAnna lived part of her childhood at the Children's Home in Fremont. She graduated from Norfolk High School in 1955. JoAnna married Ray Clausen at Christ Lutheran Church on July 1, 1956. She worked at Hested's, Norfolk Theaters, and Bomgaars for many years. Clausen, of Norfolk, Ne., died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at her home. JoAnna was born November 6, 1936, at Columbus, NE., the daughter of William and Stella (Henery) Dranselka. JoAnna lived part of her childhood at the Children's Home in Fremont. She graduated from Norfolk High School in 1955. JoAnna married Ray Clausen at Christ Lutheran Church on July 1, 1956. She worked at Hested's, Norfolk Theaters, and Bomgaars for many years. JoAnna enjoyed being with her family and her animals. She loved gardening, watching birds, sewing, quilting, collecting swans, selling Avon, and taking pictures. JoAnna really enjoyed baking angel food cake for everyone's birthday. She served on Monroe School's PTA, was in a bowling league for many years, was a member of the Christ Lutheran Braille Workers and helped with the circulation of the Echo. JoAnna is survived by her husband, Ray Clausen of Norfolk, Ne.; children and their spouses, Cindy and Bruce Paul, Tom and Julie Clausen, Mike and Deb Clausen, all of Norfolk, NE., Chris and Denise Clausen, of Stanton, NE.; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; brother, William Dranselka, Jr., of Texas, 3 nieces and 2 nephews. JoAnna was preceded in death by: parents and sister, Twila Graae. Burial was in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Norfolk, NE.
