Description	:	Joanne Y. Davidson, 71, of Donnellson, died at 5:35 a.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2004, at Park Place in Mount Pleasant. Born May 6, 1933, in Primrose, she was the daughter of Rowland H. and Bessie E. (Mogel) Davidson. On June 10, 1951, she married Wayne Davidson in Primrose. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Davidson was a nurse's aide at the Donnellson Health Center, retiring in 1987. She was a member of St Paul's United Church of Christ and the Donnellson American Legion Auxiliary. Davidson of Donnellson, James E. Davidson and Roger H. Davidson, both of Quincy, Illinois, and Dale A. Davidson of Mount Pleasant; 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Virginia Lyon and Marguerite Ellis, both of Fort Madison. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents. The funeral for Mrs. Davidson will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 24, at Hofbauer-Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson, with the Rev. Judy Holcomb officiating. Burial will be in the Primrose Cemetery in Primrose.
