Description	:	Delphos Republican June 3, 1948 Job Weldon Seymour, son of Felix and Sarah Seymour, was born in Morrefield, West Virginia on January 31, 1867, and departed this life at his home in Delphos, Kansas on May 26, 1948 at the age of 81 years, 3 months and 25 days. Mr. Seymour came to Ottawa County, Kansas in 1886 and has lived in this county ever since. Read More	Delphos Republican June 3, 1948 Job Weldon Seymour, son of Felix and Sarah Seymour, was born in Morrefield, West Virginia on January 31, 1867, and departed this life at his home in Delphos, Kansas on May 26, 1948 at the age of 81 years, 3 months and 25 days. Mr. Seymour came to Ottawa County, Kansas in 1886 and has lived in this county ever since. He was united in marriage to Martha Jane Allison on February 2, 1892 and to this union were born seven children, four sons and three daughters. Two daughters, Merlie Mae and Esther Oda, preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Martha Jane Seymour, and his children as follows: Leo D. Seymour of Salina; Lester F. Seymour of Niles, Kansas; Orrin Vernon Seymour of Glasco, Kansas; Oliver Dean Seymour of Lucas, Kansas; and Mrs. Neva R. Murphy of Kansas City, Missouri. He also leaves eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted from the Delphos Methodist Church, Friday afternoon, May 28, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. H.G. Feldmann was the officiating clergyman. Music was furnished by Mrs. Lael Gilbert, Mrs. Mary Worrel, Mrs. H.F. Summers and Mrs. M.P. Ballard, Alva S. Adams was the accompanist. Pallbearers were Ben Halderson, Wendell Wilkins, L.W. Kent, George Woods, C.L. Cain and Lester Allison. Interment was made in the Bennington Cemetery. The Hartley Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements. --submitted by Kate Jacques
