Description | : | USMA Class of 1963. He was the son of Joe Logan Galle (1913-1993) and Thelma Eklund. He also attended Montana State College for one year and entered West Point in 1959. From 1957 to 1959, he served as an armored cavalry trooper in the Montana National Guard. After graduation and training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, he reported for a one year tour of duty in Korea with the 1st Battalion, 15th Armor, 1st Cavalry Division.
