He was born on September 18, 1934 in McKenzie, TN to Otto and Ila Mann Ridley. He was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church for over 50 years and also served as an Elder, he was a member of the Masons, and a former member of the McKenzie Rotary Club. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Mary Lou Ridley who died October 13, 2018, a sister Ruth Carr, two brothers Duane Ridley and Bobby Ridley. Survivors include his wife Mary Melton Ridley of Paris, TN, his daughter Jeanine (Tony) Jones of McKenzie, two sons Mark (Karin) Ridley of Chicago, Ill, Michael Joe ( Brianna) Ridley of Nashville, TN, a sister Joyce (Bill) Driskell of Athens, AL 11 grandchildren Chrishanda Ridley, Lindsey Jones, Parker Jones, Camile Ridley, Gwyneth Ridley, Kase Ridley, Claudia Ridley, Margeaux Ridley, Jude Ridley, Julian Ridley, Mark Ridley, II; Nine great grandchildren Fletcher Holt, Ridley Holt, Bryson Jones, Keaton Jones, Carisha Ridley, Ashton Ridley, Jake Jones, Carver Holt, and Mary Mae Holt.
