Description	:	Joel was the son of John and Louisa Stanley. He was married to Miss Iowa Belamy July 21, 1875. She preceeded him in death thirteen years earlier. To this union were born severn children, Harry Stanley, Mannford, Oklahoma; Mrs. Fred T. Smith, Newton, Iowa; Mrs. T. J. Penisten, Marysville, Mo; Mrs. T. E. West, Coon Rapids, Iowa; Herbert Stanley, Kellerton, Iowa; Verge and Dewitt had died earlier. Mr. Stanley was in the real estate business in Leon. Besides his children he left 27 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held from the Methodist church in Pleasnton... Read More	Joel was the son of John and Louisa Stanley.
