Talley was born in Alexandria, the son of the late Edith Vantrease and Paul Wheeler Talley. He was a 1967 graduate of Watertown High School. He was married to Sue Sellars on December 9th, 1967 and she preceded him in death on May 1st, 1993. He later married Cathy Francine Butner on October 1st, 1999. Talley was born in Alexandria, the son of the late Edith Vantrease and Paul Wheeler Talley. He was a 1967 graduate of Watertown High School. The body is at Avant Funeral Home in Alexandria where the service will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with Jeff Ford and Tim Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Hillview Memorial Cemetery in Alexandria. The Talley family will receive friends at the Avant Chapel on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. Talley is survived by his wife, Cathy Talley of Alexandria. Three children, Tonya Taylor of Alexandria; Trina and husband David Hedge of Smithville; and Paul and wife Mandy Talley of Brentwood. Step daughter, Alison Turner of Norris, Tennessee. A sister, Regina and husband Shields Reeder of Alexandria. A brother, Ross and wife Kim Talley of Alexandria. Grandchildren, Jared, Justin, and Chad Taylor, Kelsey and Macy Hedge, Hunter Close, Katie and Luke Turner. Great grandchildren, Emma and Eli Taylor. Avant Funeral Home in Alexandria is in charge of the arrangements.
