At her side when she passed to a better place were her husband of 36 years, Carl, and two sons, Carl and Bruce. Joelda is also survived by her mother, Jette Mueller, Worden, MT., two brothers, John and Jerrol (Shorty), five grandchildren, Alex, Steven, Sara, Ryan and Carl. Joelda was born April 11, 1938 in Billings, MT., to John Kelso and Jette Keller Mueller. She graduated from Huntley Project High School in 1956, and from Eastern Montana College in 1965, with a bachelor's degree in secondary and special education. She taught one year in Chinook, MT., before the family moved to Utah. She began teaching resources and directed studies at Granger High School in1969. Her last courageous day teaching was less than three months before her passing. During her teaching career, she touched the lives of many young people and provided for their special needs. Joelda always cherished her family and took pride in her sons and grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing with her family and traveling throughout the United States. A celebration of Joelda's life will be held on Saturday, July 19, at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Family and friends are welcome to join us at the memorial service. Additionally there will be an open house 1:30 0 4 p.m. at the Fauver home in bennion. There will be a second memorial service held in Ballantine, MT.. Tuesday, July 22, 11 a.m. for the family and friends to join us in celebrating her joyous life. In lieu of gifts, donations to the Intermountain Shrine Hospital, Salt Lake City, would greatly appreciated. Evans and Early funeral Directors.
