Description	:	Joenita Mae Cone, age 93, of Kokomo, passed away September 16, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. She was born on August 15, 1922 in Kokomo the daughter of the late Stanley R. and Pearl M. (Singer) Harrell. On November 26, 1942, she married Patrick Cone, and he preceded her in death. She retired from Stellite in 1984 after 20 years of service where she worked in inspection. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's activities and Notre Dame Football along with line dancing. She was a volunteer at St. Joseph' Hospital for over 20 years. Joenita was also a member of the Eagles and Moose. Survivors include her son, two daughters, sister, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents; grandchild Gregory Knowles; sons-in-laws, Irvin Scarborough and Gene Sottong; and daughter-in-law, Joyce Cone. A funeral service to celebrate Joenita's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 21, 2015, at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Father Francis officiating. Burial will follow the service in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Online condolences may be given at www.sunsetmemorygarden.com.
