Description	:	John F. Kunau aged 82, died last eveing at 10:30 o'clock at his rural home near Teeds Grove, after an illness of several months. Mr. Kunau was one of the best known farmers in the county, and had lived in the vicinity of Teeds Grove since coming to this country from Germany. Besides his wife he is survived by four sons. Ernest Kunau of Teeds, Alfred Kunau of Clinton and Siegfried Kunau of Nebraska, four daughters, Mrs. Charles jargo of Teeds, Mrs. Henry Petres of Hauntown, Mrs. Ferdinand Peters of Teeds and Mrs. max Peters of west of Lyons. Funeral services for John F. Kuanu will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the home, with services at the Teeds Grove church. Rev. Hugo Grimm of St. John's Lutheran church will officiate. Interment will be in the Teeds Grove Cemetery. John Frederick Kunau was boirn October 7, 1838 in Holsteil Germany. He was united in marriage with Miss Pena Feldman, April 5, 1846. Eight children were born to this union. In 1866 Mr. Kuanu came to Ohio state, where his wife and daughter join ed him the following year. Later the family moved to Clinton county, where Mr. Kunau spent the remainder of his life. Beside his wife he is survived bby four duaghters, four sons, 32 grandchildren and one great-grandchild and two sisters. the latter resideing in Germany. Clinton, Iowa Herald Fri, 19 Nov. 1920
