Folkers, a well and favorably known resident of Cass township, died at his home last week, Wednesday. Funeral services were held at the Castle Grove Lutheran church last Friday afternoon and were largely attended. The services were conducted by Rev. M. Scherf, the pastor of that church, and burial was had at the cemetery in the vicinity of that church. Mr. Folkers was a native of Germany, but had resided in Jones county for a considerable length of time. He was the father of H.E. Folkers of Castle Grove township.
