John was born July 16, 1948 at rural North Bend to John P. and Antonia L. “Ann” (Ritzdorf) Limbach. He lived his entire life at North Bend and attended school in North Bend. He served in the US Army from April 11, 1968 until April 1, 1970 during the Vietman War. John married Cindy Semrad on April 27, 1974 at St. Charles Catholic Church in North Bend. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in North Bend, North Bend Amvets and past member of the North Bend Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, Cindy of North Bend; sons, Dustin (Bridget) Limbach of Kearney, Nebraska and Devlin (Ryan) Limbach of Lincoln, Nebraska; daughter, Darcie (Steve) Hubbard of Odessa, Texas; brothers, Paul (Julee) Limbach of California and David (Carol) Limbach of North Bend; sisters, Delores (Sam) Isom of Elkhorn, Nebraska and Kathy Limbach of Mead, Nebraska; grandchildren, Bailey, Sierra, Noah, Gannon, Morgan, Jasmine, Tim, Rebecca and Dakota; great grandchildren, Ryder, Rayden and Anakin; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marvin and wife, Jane Limbach; daughter-in-law, Amy Limbach. Funeral Service will be 10:30 A.M., Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Moser Memorial Chapel in North Bend. The Rev. Father Keith Rezac will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors conducted by the V.F.W. Post #8223 and AmVets Post #20 of North Bend and American Legion Post #340 of Morse Bluff, Nebraska will be at Woodland Cemetery at North Bend. Memorials may be directed to the family." Moser Memorial Chapel, North Bend, Nebraska.
