Description	:	Son of Alex and Kathleen Adair. John and his wife Emma were married June 18, 1890 at Guelph, Wellington County, Ontario before coming to Lacombe where her parents and the rest of the family had come earlier. They arrived by train and were met by Emma's family in black veils and armbands as her father had died while they were enroute.
