Description	:	The funeral of J. A. Price, who passed away at his home in this city, Tuesday, April 25th, was held from the family residence Thursday afternoon at four o’clock, conducted by his pastor, Rev. B. J. Trickey. A large concourse of friends gathered to pay their last respects and the business houses closed their doors during the hour of the service. The floral offerings were beautiful and profuse and bespoke more eloquently than words the esteem in which the deceased and the members of his family were held. John Addison Price was born April 12, 1850, in Carroll county, Ohio. He was married August 14th, 1878, to Nancy Jane McGuire. Four children were born, all of whom are living today, except the oldest, a daughter, who died in infancy. He attended school at the academy at Hagerstown, Ohio, after which he taught school for a number of years. He attended law school at Cleveland, Ohio, and was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1872. Feeling the call of the West he moved to Albion, Nebraska, in 1884, where he has since resided, maintaining a law practice until January of the present year. The body was laid at rest in Rose Hill cemetery. (Albion Weekly News – Albion, Nebraska – May 4, 1922)
