His sister Barbara was the first to be born there. His first two children were born in Wisconsin and Eva was born in Otter Tail County, Minnesota. His father passed away in 1876 in Gale, Trempealeau, Wisconsin. His mother Mary 10 years later. His wife Nancy died in 1889, in Pelican Rapids, Otter Tail, MN. A few years later he met Blanch Baird and by 1900 they were married. It was the 2nd marriage for both of them. In 1910 they were living in Bandon, Coos, Oregon with Blanche's mother Adelia. Word of the death this morning In Everett of J. A. Faulds, 89, husband of Mrs. Blanche Faulds, who died here Tuesday morning, at their home, W1411 Garland, was received in Spokane today by N. S. Dressier, a stepson. Mr. Faulds, a G. A. R. veteran and past commander of several posts throughout the country, had been ill for about 15 years. He was taken to Everett a week ago by his son, E. W. Faulds, and It is thought the shock of his wife's death hastened his own. He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and came to the United States when he was 7 years old. He was a past member of G. A. R. posts in Minnesota and Bandon, Ore., where the couple lived for several years after coming west in 1907. Funeral services probably will be held Saturday or Monday, with burial in Everett. Wife's Funeral Tomorrow. Rites for Mrs. Faulds will be conducted at 1 o'clock tomorrow at Hazen & Jaeger's, the Rev. Carl A. Johnson and members of Reno Relief corps officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Park cemetery. Mrs. Faulds was a member of the Reno auxiliary, and of Occidental chapter No. 45 of the Eastern Star In Bandon, Ore. She was a past worthy matron of the order for the state of Oregon. Except for the years spent in Bandon, Mr. and Mrs. Faulds had lived in Spokane since 1907. The two sons are the only survivors.
