Description	:	John A. Burkey Rites Saturday Funeral services for John A. Burkey, 64, who died following a month's illness at the home of his son-in-law, Stanley Jenkins, Thursday morning, will be held at two o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Carson Funeral home. The Rev. Laurence Nelson of the Bellevue Presbyterian church will officiate. Burial will be in the East Iron Hill cemetery. In addition to his widow, he is survived by three sisters, Merele Burkey of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Mae Schaffer of Clinton and Mrs. Ella Harp of Baldwin; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Jenkins, Maquoketa and Mrs. Velma Parmer of Cheyenne, Wyo.; four brothers, Jay and Frank both of Maquoketa; Orville of Baldwin and David of Clinton; and three grandchildren.
