Description	:	Death summoned John Breece at his home in Creighton, Monday, December 1, 1919. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Smith were held from the home Thursday morning at 10:30, interment being made in Creighton cemetery. John Breece was born in Richland county, Ohio, December 6, 1842 from which place he moved to Iowa in an early day and later removed to Creighton, Nebraska. In 1866 he was married to Clarissa Piper, who preceded him in death October11, 1910. From this marriage six children were born, four of whom survive, two dying in infancy. John Breece was born in Richland county, Ohio, December 6, 1842 from which place he moved to Iowa in an early day and later removed to Creighton, Nebraska. In 1866 he was married to Clarissa Piper, who preceded him in death October11, 1910. From this marriage six children were born, four of whom survive, two dying in infancy. In October 1913 Mr. Breece was again married to Mrs. Mattie B. Stults, who survives the deceased, as do his two sons, Henry of Winner, S.D. and Edgar of Creighton; two daughters, Mrs. Ora Compton, Curlew, Iowa and Mrs. Emil Peterson of Draper, S.D. The subject of this sketch had attained the very near age of 77 years and during such span of life, so conducted himself as to hold friendship of all fellowmen. Mr. Breece was of a quiet demeanor, never intruding himself upon others and at the same time being provident for family and self through every circumstance. Thus has life rounded out and closed the pages of our respected townsman.
