Byron Tucker, 53, prominent lumber manufacturer, who died Thursday afternoon of a heart attack, suffered while supervising a job in town, were held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the First Baptist church, of which hew was a member, conducted by the pastor, Rev. He had been an alderman of Benton Heights, where he lived for number of years. He is survived by his widow, formerly Miss Buelah Fowler; three sons, Howard W., John N., and Joe Tucker; two daughters, Mrs. Paul Riggins and Mrs. Mildred Waltham of Baltimore; three brothers, H. Vernon and Lonnie C. Tucker of Monroe and W. D. Tucker of Laurinburg; three sisters, Mrs. Gus Wyley and Mrs. G. D. Baker of Concord and Mrs. Spurgeon Deese of Albemarle.
