Description	:	John C. Boe passed away Tuesday afternoon at his ranch home on Duck creek, eight miles north of Springdale, after a very brief illness. The body was brought to Big Timber for preparation for burial. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon from the Lutheran church, Rev. A. A. Holbeck officiating. Mr. Boe was a native of Norway, born near Egersund, March 2, 1855. He came to the United States in 1902, direct to Big Timber. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon from the Lutheran church, Rev. A. A. Holbeck officiating. Mr. Boe was a native of Norway, born near Egersund, March 2, 1855. He came to the United States in 1902, direct to Big Timber. In 1912 he purchased the ranch on Duck creek, where he has run both sheep and cattle. Three sons, Chris, Hans G. and Harold, came here several years ago, but not until five years ago did Mrs. Boe join her husband. Three daughters and two sons remain in Norway. Deceased was a good friend and neighbor who will be greatly missed in the community in which he resided so long.
