(From our Correspondent.) Early on Thursday morning Colin, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. M. K. Campbell, of Surry Farm, passed away, the cause of death being pneumonia. The deceased, who was twelve years of age, was a lively boy, and was a great favorite at school. On Monday he was at the school as usual, and appeared to be pretty well. On Thursday he was dead. He was buried on Friday in the Church of England portion of the Currabubula cemetery, and the funeral was a large one, about 25 vehicles and about 14 horsemen following the remains to their last resting place. The coffin was taken to the church and a portion of the burial service was read, and then it was taken on to the cemetery. The children of the public school, under direction of their teacher (Mr. Boyle), marched behind the hearse to the grave. Rev. L. Gabbott, vicar, read the funeral service, and Mr. Leggett was the undertaker. Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved parents, who are well-known and highly respected residents. Mr. Campbell is one of the trustees for the Mechanics Institute, and took a prominent part in all public matters. Mr. Campbell is also warden of St. Matthew's Church of England.
