He was born September 2, 1947 to Dan and Ann Sims Imgrum in Joplin, Missouri. He is also survived by his sister, Libbye Ingrum boothe. A graduate of Springdale High School, he was a member of the student council and the school band. He joined the ROTC his senior year. At the University of Arkansas he earned the Distinguished Military Student award and a business administration degree. He was a member of the military honor fraternity, the Scabbard and Blade. He was engaged at the time of his death. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. The information on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Web site mistakenly lists his date of death as April instead of March. I walked side by side with old friends and family alike. Don't cry for me because here there is no trace of sickness or sadness only His loving Grace. The beauty is beyond words and nothing I could say would compare. Don't cry for me because I am in a far better place, with streets of gold just like we were told.
