Description	:	Jack was the son of Issac Day and Betsey Newcome. He came from Halifax to Sanbornton NH at an early age, working the lumber camps and saving his money. Eventually he bought half of a sawmill there and at the age of 26 married Edith Mae the daughter of Ned and Eldora (Mason) Morrison. He died at the early age of 46 in Sanbornton where he had made his home.
