Ciesluk, 83, of 68 Spruce St., a retired maintenance worker and a veteran of World War II, died Friday, Jan. 12, in Wachusett Extended Care Facility, Holden, after a diabetes-related illness. He was born in Worcester, son of John and Zofia (Zakzewski) Ciesluk, and lived most of his life in Clinton. He attended Clinton schools. He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II, serving in the North Atlantic. Mr. Ciesluk was a foreman at Colonial Press, where he worked for 20 years, and later worked 13 years in the maintenance department at the Clinton Courthouse before his retirement. He and his wife also owned the S-V Club. He was a member of Our Lady of Jasna Gora Church and the Polish American Citizens Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. The funeral will be held Tuesday, Jan. 16, from Robert J. McNally Funeral Home, 304 Church St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Jasna Gora Church, 128 Franklin St. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Hudson, N.H. Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, in the funeral home. Flowers may be sent, or memorial contributions made to St. Mary Elementary School, 128R Franklin St., Clinton, MA 01510."
