Warmoth and Ida Cornelia Lawrence, on January 2, 1924, in Hollister, San Benito County, California; the marriage ended no later than 1929. The couple had one child, a son, namely: ROBERT EDGAR DAVIDSON (1925-1971). He married Ann (unknown), ca 1943; they were married until his death. The death certificate also showed that he was born in Cottonwood, California; his father was John Edward [sic] Davidson; Ann Davidson was his wife; he died at his home at 4526 Potrero Avenue, Richmond; and he was employed as a Truck Driver in Shipyard #1. Wilson & Kratzer, Richmond, handled his arrangements. On the 1910 Census, Red Bluff, Tehama County, California, which was taken as of April 15, 1910, [John] Edgar Davidson, age 22, born ca 1888, was listed in the household of his parents, John and Martha J. Davidson. Born on August 16, 1887, he would have turned 23 on August 16, 1910. On his World War II Draft Registration, taken on April 25, 1942, John Edgar Davidson listed his birth date and place as August 16, 1887, Cottonwood, [Shasta County,] California. He was employed at the Richmond Shipbuilding Co., No. 1, Cutting Blvd., Richmond, Contra Costa, Calif., and the "Person Who Will Always Know Your Address" was Robert Davidson, [of] Chino, Calif. Although he was not identified as such, Robert was his son.
