Description	:	John Edward Lowery, age 81, of Moberly, MO, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. He was born May 21, 1931, in Clarence, MO, the son of Archie Edward and Opal Laurine Edwards Lowery. On December 28, 1950, he was united in marriage to Wanda Grace Beckley. She survives. John is also survived by four children, Linda Grace Davis and husband Scott of Moberly, MO, Mark Edward Lowery and wife Debbie of Moberly, MO, Jim Lowery and wife Lea Ann of Columbia, MO and Ellen Laurine Lowery of Columbia, MO; six grandchildren, Megan Lucas and... Read More	John Edward Lowery, age 81, of Moberly, MO, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. He was born May 21, 1931, in Clarence, MO, the son of Archie Edward and Opal Laurine Edwards Lowery. On December 28, 1950, he was united in marriage to Wanda Grace Beckley. She survives. John is also survived by four children, Linda Grace Davis and husband Scott of Moberly, MO, Mark Edward Lowery and wife Debbie of Moberly, MO, Jim Lowery and wife Lea Ann of Columbia, MO and Ellen Laurine Lowery of Columbia, MO; six grandchildren, Megan Lucas and husband Matt, Jared Davis, Michelle Lowery, Daniel Lowery, Melissa Lowery and Tyler Brittian and three great-grandchildren, Noah, Brant and Cash Lucas. He was preceded in death by his parents. John was a 1949 graduate of Clarence High School and attended Central Christian Church of Moberly, MO. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. John served as salesman and district manager for Moorman Manufacturing of Quincy, IL. He enjoyed Cardinal baseball, sporting events, and coffee shop talk. John especially loved the time he could spend with his family. Memorial services will be held at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Clarence, MO, on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at 1:30 pm with burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Clarence. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Clarence on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. Memorials may be made to Woodhaven, 1405 Hathman Place, Columbia, MO 65201.
