Madison Community Hospital. He was born on December 23, 1924 in Centerville, IA to Nathan and Nettie Dockery Sanders. John married Jean Ann Trivler on October 6, 1950 in Galesburg, IL and she preceded him in death. Read More	John Sanders DIED: April 20, 2013 LOCATION: Fort Madison, Iowa John Edward Sanders, 88, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 10:20 AM at the Ft. Madison Community Hospital. He was born on December 23, 1924 in Centerville, IA to Nathan and Nettie Dockery Sanders. John married Jean Ann Trivler on October 6, 1950 in Galesburg, IL and she preceded him in death. He then married Irene Raines on October 19, 1984 in Pigeon Forge, TN and she passed away on August 27, 1995, he then married Charlotte Kramer Boggs on August 30, 1996. John spent forty eight years in the floor covering business and also owned and operated Sanders Construction for twelve years in Galesburg, IL. He was a member of Ss. Mary & Joseph Church. John served in the US Navy during WWII and was stationed in Pearl Harbor. He was a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans Association. One of John's most cherished memories was going on the Honor Tour in Washington, DC. He also enjoyed working on bicycles and playing cards. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte H. Boggs of Ft. Madison, IA; a step son, Lewis (Wendy) Boggs of Kahoka, MO; a step daughter, Rebecca Wright of Ft. Madison; a step daughter-in-law, Susie Boggs of Revere, MO; six step grandchildren; twelve step great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives and two sisters. Friends may call after 2 PM on Monday, April 22, 2013 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory where the family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 PM. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 6:30 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Ss. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. David Wilkening officiating. Burial will be in Soldiers' Circle, Oakland Cemetery with Military Rites performed by the Ft. Madison Veterans Honor Guard. A memorial has been established for Ss.
