Description	:	Mr. John Everett Henderson of 5425 Sardis Road, died early Monday morning, May 3, 1965, in a local hospital. He was the son of the late Joseph E. and Eliza Jane Flowe Henderson of Monroe, N. C. Mr. Henderson was a retired broadcasting engineer with WBTV for 28 years. He was the son of the late Joseph E. and Eliza Jane Flowe Henderson of Monroe, N. C. Mr. Henderson was a retired broadcasting engineer with WBTV for 28 years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Monroe, N. C. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, at Harry and Bryant chapel in the Oaks, The Rev. Roy F. Whitley, minister of First Presbyterian Church, Monroe, officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 4:15 p.m., in Monroe City Cemetery, Monroe, N. C. Surviving are his wife, the former Kathleen Austin, of the home, one brother Arthur M. Henderson, and one sister Mrs. David O. Smith, both of Washington, D. C. The family requests that memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society. Active pallbearers will be R. F. Painter, O. E. Simerly, P. M. Covington, R. W. Dycus, T. K. Bush, J. C. Gregory, C. W. Cook and T. L. Stutts. Honorary pallbearers will be M. J. Minor, J. G. Carey, J. P. Torrence, G. B. Warren, F. M. Blackwelder, J. R. Covington, Lewis Van Leuven and Clyde McLean.
