Description	:	John F. Boeck, 73, died 7 p.m. last evening. He was born Dec. 19, 1936 in Germany. He came to the United States in 1883 stopping at Albany, New York for a short time then to Norfolk until his death. He was survived by his wife, 6 daughters. The funeral will be held Sunday with the burial in the new German Lutheran cemetery. Boeck, whose death we chronicled last week, was born in Vangerow, Germany, December, 1837* and came to the United States about 26 years ago, settling in Norfolk, He had been ill since last April, suffering with stomach trouble and was confined to his bed for almost a month. He was married Nov. 11, 1856 to Eliza Schultz. Nine daughters and one son were born to those good people, Mesdames F. Klentz, Martha Brown and George Dudley of this place, Mrs. F. F. Miller, of Utica and Mrs. Olga Witteas, of Omaha and Miss Margurite Boeck of this place surviving the father. The funeral was he;d Sunday from Christ Lutheran church, Rev. J. P. Mueler officiating. Hew was buried at Prospect Hill. Deceased was a man of splendid principles and kindly traits. The memory of him will ever be a guide to the higher life."
