Description | : | At the age of 16, Mr. Kincannon, enlisted in the Confederate army under Breckenridge, Company A, 23rd Battalion. He was captured at the Battle of Winchester and taken prisoner. He was taken to Point Lookout where he remained until March 1865. He married Hattie Miller in 1880 in Colorado. They had no children until they adopted Clinton and Dottie a brother and sister.
